What Is The B1 Rolodex?

Welcome to the B1 Rolodex Family,

The B1 Rolodex is a business directory primarily for FBA businesses and professionals.

For years in the Black Grassroots, people have been requesting a platform that would allow us to connect and support our own. A place where we could go to find legitimate businesses so we could better circulate our dollars.

No rent-em-spoons silliness, no janky, dusty riff-raff BS; just regular down-to-earth businesses and professionals who/which are competent and highly effective in their respective industries.

Now more than ever, since delineation has occurred, it is time for Foundational Black Americans (FBAs) to financially/economically delineate from the other groups, just as others have been financially delineating from us.

What makes The B1 Rolodex different than other "Black" business listing websites?

Other "Black" Listing Sites

  • Focus is on quantity. Most use phrasing like "We have 30k, 50k, 100k listings." Obvious fluff/filler entries that include riff-raff to bolster the numbers.
  • Generate listings based on unverified computer scripts or AI-generated data. Businesses are often listed with incomplete or incorrect data. Some of the businesses are outdated or have no means of contacting the owner/professional.
  • Little to no "Black" verification. Typically, anyone who has a couple of melanocytes can be listed as "Black." Pretty much no delineation between different ethnic groups.
  • Often slow and/or disorganized.
  • Often biased. Businesses can pay to be listed or "allegedly" pay to get competitors and reviews removed. Possible connections to "special interest groups" and/or dark money.

The B1 Rolodex

  • Focus on quality. We don't mind having fewer listings. Entries are human-verified; 0 riff-raff tolerated. Fewer entries, but higher quality results.
  • Entry-by-entry verification. Many submissions come directly from the Black Grassroots. Verification that the businesses or professionals are legitimate; websites or social media links are verified; verification is made to ensure the customer/client can get the product or the service.
  • Businesses and professionals must be either Foundational Black American (FBA) owned or B1. FBAs are prioritized and are the main ones listed (98% or so). Non-FBAs such as Jamaicans or Haitians may be listed, but they must be on-code (B1) and have some FBAs who are connected to the Black Grassroots vouch for them being on-code.
  • Properly organized with laser-fast searching
  • Businesses can't pay to be listed. No bribes accepted. We're funded directly from the REAL Black Grassroots.

What or Who Is an FBA?

An FBA is a Foundational Black American: someone who is currently classified as Black or African American (a foolish term) and sometimes as Colored, Mulatto, or Negro on a birth certificate and/or other important document or record. FBAs are people descended from Black/Freedmen ancestors who were present at the founding of the United States. FBAs are not immigrants. FBAs are the people of The Most High who literally built the USA from the ground up. Being born or raised in the USA or raised around FBAs does not make you FBA. FBA is a lineage (not a group). Now, to clarify, if a business is Black-owned but not FBA, they MAY still be listed, but only if they are B1, or Black First, and meet the verification rules below. The Rolodex exists first and foremost to support FBA businesses and professionals, so non-FBA listings are the exception rather than the rule.

Why?

FBAs have been used as a host for various ethnic groups (including Black-looking ones) to parasite off of. Support is typically one-sided and is demanded/expected from FBAs. That support is overlooked and often underappreciated, with practically zero reciprocation and hidden contempt. We want to know that non-FBAs are on-code with us and support us in word and deed as much as they want our support. We do not tolerate our dollars/business going to people who secretly have contempt for FBAs.

Business And Professional Listing Rules

  • Must be reliable and must be doing legitimate business.
  • Must be either FBA-owned (and not extremely off-code) or non-FBA but strictly B1.
  • Must not be in a restricted category (see the list below).
  • There is no charge to be listed, nor is there a way to be listed through "bribes."
  • Certain businesses/professional listings may require extra verification, including lawyers and B1 politicians.
  • Non-Foundational Black Americans can be listed, but must go through a vetting process. They must be connected to the REAL Black Grassroots (not astroturf) and be on-code (B1). This is verified by on-code FBAs reaching out to me via email or X. Those FBAs are essentially putting their reputations on the line by getting your business added. If any tethering (undermining, malicious intent, hidden anti-FBA sentiment, disrespect) is detected at a later date, the business will be promptly removed, and the FBAs who recommended your business will no longer have any say in future B1 Rolodex entries, unless the reports of tethering came from them. Keep in mind, it is much easier to be removed than it is to be added.

*Note: This system uses ongoing verification. If a listing at some point does not meet the listing rules, it will likely be reported and promptly removed.*

Restricted Businesses/Professionals

  • Off-code businesses/professionals.
  • Multi-level marketing or network marketing.
  • Spiritual or religious promotions.
  • Crypto, stock, or forex scams.
  • Affiliate marketing links.
  • Gambling and similar businesses.
  • Illegal products or services, including drugs.
  • 18+ sexual content, including OnlyFans or similar sites.
  • Abortion or abortion-promo businesses.
